Cathleen M. Keating.

Cathleen M. Keating received a B.A. degree with departmental distinction from the University of Illinois in 1977 and a J.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1980. She has been with the firm of Martin, Craig, Chester & Sonnenschein since 1979 and a Partner since 1980. She is currently the Village Attorney for the Village of LaGrange Park. She previously served as a member of the Board of Education for LaGrange School District 102,the LaGrange Park Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Secretary-Treasurer of the Chicago Metropolitan Area Savings Institutions Attorneys' Committee. She is a member of the Illinois and DuPage Bar Associations. Her publication "Liability For and Defenses Against Fiduciary Misappropriation," Illinois Bar Journal, February 1984, was awarded first place in the Lincoln Award Legal Writing Contest sponsored by the Illinois State Bar Association. She has also written an article for the Illinois Reporter, September 1989, entitled "Post-judgment Collection Proceedings: How Associations Should Respond." Born in Chicago in 1955, she currently resides in LaGrange Park with her husband and two children.
