TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT
We believe that open, frank discussion regarding the terms of engagement at the outset of any legal representation is one of the most important professional obligations of a practicing lawyer. Our goal, in all matters, is to achieve agreed upon working procedures and fee
arrangements that best suit the interest of our clients and the firm and that are most appropriate
to the particular legal tasks to be performed. We encourage the use of written letters of
engagement.
Our firm recognizes the importance of prompt, responsive legal advice in the decision
making process of our clients. As a matter of firm policy, all partners are provided with
telecommunications equipment that enables them to communicate with clients at all times.
Client telephone calls will be returned within one business day, if possible. All of our lawyers
are available in the evenings and most weekends should the occasion arise.
The Firm reserves the right to obtain and check client references and to decline the representation of any client.
